Senior food processing executive with more than 25 years of international leadership experience across operations, strategy, and M&A in the global food & beverage industry.
Carlos previously served as EVP and President of Diversified Food & Health at John Bean Technologies Corporation (JBT), where he led global sales, operations, and strategy across the US, Europe, and South America, managing more than 3,000 employees across 18 locations. During his tenure, he drove major growth initiatives, including acquisitions, organizational restructuring, and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
He later moved into a corporate strategy role at JBT, focusing on M&A, sustainability initiatives, emerging food technologies, and strategic partnerships.
Carlos currently serves in different board positions at OptiCept Technologies, Persiskin, Bedford & Bailey, and Villa Food, contributing his expertise in food technology, innovation, and sustainability.
He holds a degree in Economics and Business from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and has completed executive education at Harvard, INSEAD, Wharton, and ESADE.
Dr. José Flores brings more than 30 years of global experience in food science, process engineering, and strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles at companies including JBT Corporation, a global leader in food processing technologies, and Citrofrut, one of Mexico’s largest citrus processors.
Dr. Flores combines deep technical expertise in fruit processing, juice technology, and product formulation with extensive experience in evaluating companies, executing acquisitions, and supporting integration processes across international markets.
At Stratumm, he helps clients bridge scientific innovation with strategic investment decisions to create long-term value.
Javier Cuesta has over 15 years of experience advising companies on executive assessment, leadership development, and board-level recruitment.
He has led more than 300 executive and non-executive director searches across multiple industries including Food & Beverage, Energy, Agriculture, Technology, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, and Transportation.
Javier is a member of the Executive Coaching team at IESE Business School and collaborates with San Pablo CEU University. He has lived and worked across the United States, Europe, and Latin America, leading international executive search and leadership advisory projects.
Luis Jasso is a food-industry entrepreneur and advisor with experience spanning both multinational corporations and high-growth startups.
He spent seven years at JBT Corporation, working across finance, operations, and commercial roles, where he developed deep expertise in food processing technologies, manufacturing operations, and go-to-market strategy.
In addition to his advisory work, Luis has launched and scaled a quick-service restaurant (QSR) concept in Mexico and internationally, gaining hands-on experience in restaurant operations, branding, and rapid growth strategies.
At Stratumm, he focuses on buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory, strategic partnerships, and industry consulting, helping companies identify growth opportunities and execute transactions across the food and beverage ecosystem.
